Samsung is planning to get Android 9 Pie update for the Galaxy Note 9 smartphone in January 2019. It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8 series smartphones will receive the Android Pie update in February of 2019. The Galaxy Note 9 will be the third smartphone from Samsung to receive the latest Android OS.
It does offer a tentative time-frame on when to expect the Android Pie update on the four Android phones. The update dates revealed by the Guncel Miyiz are ahead by one month than what was earlier seen in Samsung Members app.
The company is planning to bring One user interface (UI) with the Android Pie update. The One UI has been designed to experience natural and comfortable for one-handed usage. The phones will get Android 9 Pie base features like app actions, gestures, smart replies, better notification management, and more.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 plus owners, who received the Pie update, are facing battery drain issue and Bixby 2.0 related problems.
