Vivo has announced a new mid-ranger Vivo S5 which is powered by the Snapdragon 712 SoC with 8GB RAM. It boots Android Pie-based Funtouch OS 9.2 and comes in 128GB and 256GB storage options.
It is built with a 6.44″ 20:9 Super AMOLED display that promises a screen-to-body ratio of 91.38%. The display boasts a 2400×1080 pixel resolution and has a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric security.
The screen also has a punch hole in the upper-right corner for the 32MP selfie camera. It comes with a quad cameras arranged in a unique diamond formation. The setup is a combination of a 48MP main, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP depth, and 2MP macro units.
The S5 is priced at CNY2,698 for the 8GB/128GB variant and you get double storage for CNY300 more.
