Xiaomi is adding Super Night Scene and 960fps super slow motion video recording to the Xiaomi Mi3 and Mi 8 explorer through the global MIUI 10.1.2.0 update. The firmware size is 288MB.
Both features premiered with the Xiaomi Mi Mix3 at the end of october. Super Night Scene captures 8 photos at different exposures and merges them into a brighter shot.Until the addition of 960fps super slow-mo, the Xiaomi Mi 8 was able to capture up to 240fps slow-mo.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro is next in line to receive the firmware and the Super Night Scene and 960fps super slow-mo.
